Smart Gaming

I read the article "Everything Bad is Good for you: Games" by Steven Johnson. I found the article pretty humorous and detailed. I agree with Johnson though I would word my claim differently, bad outcomes can come from a statement of "everything bad is good for you". He gave his points of how reading benefits people and how gaming also benefits people by stimulating different parts of the brain. I loved how Johnson makes a point to state for the record that he thinks reading benefits people in a way gaming never can. He's right. By giving people something to see they can't imagine their world. but by giving them a book they are prompted to look for detail in the book to make up the world in their brains. Gaming also in my opinion makes people be more observant and also helps people learn to think quickly. I really enjoyed this article and like the claims made by Johnson.
